Lying beneath the stars at night,
With her own thoughts, she fight.
Watching shapes and shadows between layers of smoke,
Recalling the memories, she broke.
Thinking about each decision of her life which she planned,
It made her realize that at times ‘it takes a while to understand.’
Struggling with messy bun and messier lives,
Unaware of surprise or shock that will arrive.
Trying to get better everyday than the last,
Moving on from depressing memories of past.
Managing her expenses from local to big brands,
She realized that at times ‘It takes a while to understand’.
Drinking on Saturday nights,
Regretting about the thing which she spoke were not right.
The hammering of her heart so loud in her ears,
‘Falling in Love’s with him once again was the fear.
And then she continues admiring sunset sitting on sand,
With a feeling that ‘It takes a while to understand.’
Finally, she decided to ‘BREATHE’,
Decided to move on from beneath.
She was happy that she don’t have to live with ‘could-have-been’s,’
Waiting for her life to take another spin.
Until then, she decided to listen to her own command,
Because ‘It takes a while to understand.’
